Karl Barth and Reformed Theology: Tradition, Dialogue, and Construction

This volume explores a series of key themes in the relationship between Karl Barth and Reformed theology. Though a minister in the Reformed church and heavily indebted to its theology throughout his career, Barth had a complex relationship with the Reformed tradition--appreciative of its strengths yet cognizant of its weaknesses. This book draws together a stellar cast of international scholars from diverse traditions and perspectives to engage with Karl Barth as a Reformed scholar and with his theological legacy.
